Macildowie have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who has extensive experience in P2P and a background in finance, to work with a well established manufacturing business to implement Purchase to Pay on an interim basis for c8months.
Responsibilities
As P2P Project Manager, you will be working closely with the Business Manager and Project Team to ensure this project is successful, whilst working closely with key managers within the business to ensure the project meets the required deadlines and works efficiently.
Working closely with Purchasing and Finance to establish correct documentation for relevant processes to be followed
Appraise and update the procedure documentation
Provide assistance in building new invoice variance approval workflow and new requisition approval work flow for the P2P software
Implementation of invoice scanning within purchase ledger function
Work with Finance to ensure purchase requisitions are reviewed and validated against policy
Closely working the wider Project Team to manage user acceptance testing
Work closely with the business in providing input to training materials and training sessions required for the Finance teams to ensure the change over from old procedures to new software works seamlessly
Assist in the designing and preparing of KPI information to be able to measure project success whilst identifying areas for development
Skills & Competencies
Previous P2P and project experience coupled with a knowledge of implementation is critical to the success of this project.
Strong Purchase Ledger/purchasing experience at a senior level is also required coupled with a wider knowledge of finance.
Proficient skills in e-procurement systems
Exposure to new systems implementation and systems development.
Experience of reviewing processes and controls
Diligent and dependable
Able to work as part of a team as well as an individually
Able to work effectively cross-functionally with all areas of the business
Dedication to review and improve existing processes and push through relevant changes to the rest of the business
