We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to progress and take on responsibilities in an international business which has recently obtained external investment to support its growth ambitions.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to develop their management accounting skills. This role will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate management information is provided to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for
• Assisting with the production of monthly management reports;
• Assisting with the annual budget processes;
• Production of forecasting;
• Variance analysis;
• Business partnering divisional heads and cost centre managers;
• Completing month end activities and improving the quality and timeliness of reporting and analysis; and
• Working to streamline systems and ensure effective controls and processes are in place.
We are looking for:
• Part qualified accountant actively studying CIMA/ACCA
• Solid understanding and previous experience in management accounts
• Excellent communication skills, and able to work effectively with colleagues
• Proactive in problem solving and keen to drive change and make improvements
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good attention to detail
• Previous use of Exchequer or NetSuite financial systems would be desirable
