Leading manufacturing business which specialises in the production of Pharmaceutical products is looking for a PQ/NQ Accountant to undertake a Future Finance leadership development role.
The organisation spans over 30 countries and is listed, providing outstanding opportunities for driven individuals to progress throughout the ranks. Based on site in Slough, you will partner Senior Management and reporting into the Site Controller, responsible for a variety of manufacturing/ site related finance reporting. With considerable investment within the business, the Finance team is embarking on a journey to establish a partnering model to create much needed 'value add' for the plant's strategic direction.
- Partner with production/ engineering to create detailed forecasting models
- Support the Finance Director with creating the monthly reporting pack, with cost analysis
- Collate information from production to create Business Performance reports
- Create detailed and informative reports on labour, time, material and wastage costs
- Conduct critical analysis on full production cycle to remove any unnecessary cost
- Support the Finance Director on process improvement and systems work
- Help train non finance employees on the importance of the numbers
You will be a Part/ Qualified Accountant (CIMA equivalent) with undergraduate degree (or equivalent), you will have most likely trained within industry where you have been supporting a highly automated factory, site or plant. The finance team is well respected in the business and it is important you are able to communicate clearly, be measured when issues arise and understand the dynamics of a highly automated facility. You will receive outstanding training, your voice will be heard and you will progress as quickly as you want.
