Robertson Bell Finance are currently working with a forward thinking University within London to recruit a systems accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This role is particularly focused on the universities income systems and is very much user focused meaning you will be a key point of contact for system users.
This role reports into the Systems Manager and will join a small but results driven team of five. It is particularly focused on offering support to university wide systems users and will also involve the development and maintenance of several university systems. Alongside dealing with user queries and troubleshooting system problems you will also be expected to maintain relationships with system providers. The role, being very income orientated will also take responsibility for billing rules and the charging of tuition fees whilst liaising with university departments and academic staff.
Being an interim position it is essential that you have experience of supporting and developing a multi-system environment. Experience of financial systems support is also essential and an income background would be highly beneficial. Applicants with previous experience within the education sector are particularly encouraged to apply, although this is by no means essential. With the high possibility of becoming a permanent role, the organisation offer great benefits including 37 days holiday allowance and generous pension contributions.
