MI Analyst

Are you an experienced Analyst with keen eye for detail who has the desire to build relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions? Macildowie are supporting an SME in Burton-on-Trent to recruit a Commercial MI Analyst in to their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience of working in an analytical role and have advanced Excel skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Production of various reports to support with wider business across multiple functions
- Review product cost data to ensure price files are maintained
- Control master data to ensure clean data across the business
- Work with supply chain teams to compare material pricing data on an international scale
- Monthly analysis of materials showing pricing variations
- Supplier maintenance and setting up of new suppliers on the system
- Work with senior stakeholders to discover their reporting needs and produce ad-hoc reports

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivots essential; Macros desirable)
- Experience of producing reports for multiple stakeholders
- Confidence to present and communicate analytical data in a clear and concise manner
- Desire to study CIMA advantageous (not essential)
