Assistant Accountant

Our client who are a global manufacturing organisation, are looking for an immediately available Assistant Accountant to join their busy team on a 6 month contract.

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Finance Manager processing and completing and standardising processes for all cashiering tasks within the finance team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Complete all transactions postings relevant to bank statements and reconciliations
* Helping to work on a revised cash flow forecast sheet for treasury
* Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations * Create fully functioning and compliant processes for all areas of the cashiering role
* Support to AP and AR as needed *Support and assist Management accountant

The ideal candidate will be qualified by a strong track record of relevant experience in an Assistant Accountant role, with the ability to take on other tasks independently with minimal day to day supervision. Strong experience on Excel (vlookups and pivot tables) is essential. Other attributes the right candidate will possess is high attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, flexibility and will be proactive.
