Our Client, a worldly recognised Music agency is looking for a Royalties Coordinator to join their finance team! Winning lots of awards for their services, they are looking for a high calibre Royalties coordinator who can represent them in the best way.
Day to day tasks as a Royalties Coordinator will include preparing quarterly and six monthly royalty statements ensuring contractual guidelines are met for the artists, assisting the Royalties Manager on special projects as necessary and ensuring all new products are set up on the system correctly and efficiently. As a Royalties Coordinator you will be processing all UK and International receipts and review and manage of the suspense accounts and process third party royalty statements on a timely basis.
It is essential that you be a strong communicator as the role involves liaising with other departments within the company to ensure all necessary information is obtained. You will be communicating directly with Artists and Artist representatives either by phone, email or in person to answer queries in relation to Royalty Statements. You will be responsible for managing the payments to Accounts Payable ensuring all the latest bank information is in place and all payment are oppressed promptly.
The ideal candidate for the Royalties Coordinator role will be educated to a minimum of A level standard highly organised, have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as a team player and have good communication skills both verbal and written. You will also need to have a strong working knowledge of Excel and have previous experience within a Royalties role before!
