Group Accountant

My client is a leading media company based in the UK. They are seeking a newly/recently qualified accountant for the Group Reporting team. The team is small at the moment but due to expand from various acquisitions made in recent years.

Main Responsibilities will include:

- The timely and accurate production of the Group's Consolidated management and financial accounts.
- Forecasting & Budgeting for senior management/ Board level
- Preparation, review and finalisation of statutory accounts for all subsidiaries
- ad hoc projects as required
- Ensuring the Group's accounting policies, procedures and controls reflect all current accounting standards and guidelines, and help advise on the implications of proposed changes to standards, legislation and regulatory requirements covering both IFRS and UKGAAP.
