Audit Team Leader

Our client offer a range of high-level business & consultancy services to the organisations & participant’s0 behind some of the largest global sporting & entertainment events. They are currently looking to recruit a Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant to be based in prestigious offices in South West London. This is a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working within this sector. On a daily basis you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and projects that will require strong technical skills combined with an ability to present in a confident and polished manner, often under pressure. The role also incorporates interesting project work, statutory accounting and due diligence which gives this position extra appeal. Candidates should be qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate a range of experiences gained within public practice. Duties will include:
• Client audit
• Produce statutory accounts
• Due diligence work
• Identifying risk
• Control cost budgets
• Financial reporting
• Supervise and develop junior members of staff
• Develop professional client relationships
• Adhoc project work

You must have
• A formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Audit knowledge from a practice background
• Strong personality and have excellent technical accounting ability
