Finance Director

An established FMCG company based in Middlesbrough are seeking a talented Finance Director to develop sales strategy and drive new business.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be tasked with financial leadership for the company, and responsibility for operational and commercial performance. The onus will be on maximising organisational growth, improving profitability, and producing high quality financial reports to highlight trends.

Reporting to the MD, this role will include:

• Advising on key client contracts
• Providing financial advice on market risk and opportunity
• Heading up major financial processes
• Acting as the first point of contact for business leaders and external stakeholders on financial matters
• Working closely with the MD and business leaders to drive business strategy
• Leading and developing the existing finance team of 8

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role. A proven track record within the FMCG or a related sector is a must. In addition, candidates will be expected to be self-starters, be hands on and possess first-class commercial acumen.
