Urgently required VAT Specialist for a 6-month contract with a global FS organisation in Essex.
To be considered for this contract you will need to demonstrate the following:
- VAT Compliance covering quarterly VAT returns, EC Sales List, voluntary disclosure, annual adjustment, capital goods schemes
- Payroll tax queries
- Preparation and filing of corporate tax returns
- Dealing with intercompany issues around VAT reviews
- Liaise with UK and US colleagues to determine best course of action
- Monthly reconciliation of VAT and Tax accounts
The ideal candidate will have worked within a large multi-national organisation and used to dealing with complex VAT queries. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communications skills and have the ability to work with your peer group throughout Europe
