Job Title: Sales Ledger / Credit Controller
Salary: 22k (plus bonus after probation period)
Location: London, W4
This newly created role will be responsible for both the billing and credit control duties on their ledger. Previously, the two functions were managed by different teams.
This role will be responsible for producing and distributing invoices, accurately and in a timely manner. You will respond to incoming letters, emails and telephone calls and proactively resolve any queries or invoice disputes.
You will also play a key role in collecting cash and managing the aged debt on your ledger.
Other duties will include:
Setting up new accounts
Posting and allocating of cash
Sending out reminder letters and statements
Weekly forecasting of cash
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and branches
Ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have:
At least one year’s experience gained within a credit control and/or sales ledger role
Good knowledge of sales ledger and credit control activities
Strong MS Excel skills
A proactive, hands-on approach
Strong communication skills
