Interim Project Accountant

The Company

A high-profile rapidly growing e-commerce business is seeking a project accountant to project manage a systems implementation. This would be a fantastic opportunity for a meticulous project accountant with a passion for financial systems to hone this experience within a highly exciting, versatile, and innovative business.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of Netsuite from start to finish. Rather than doing this from a technical and hands-on IT perspective, you would be overseeing the project in a management capacity, process mapping the work that needs to be done, whilst managing the workload of others. Beyond this, the remaining 50% of the role would be spent working on a variety of projects on an ad hoc basis alongside the FD, including assisting the integration of a recent acquisition, building a new expenses platform, amongst other analytical duties.

Requirements

If you are applying for this role, you will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who has definitely had previous experience managing and delivering a project from start to finish. In addition, a good level of experience and skills working with a variety of financial systems is an absolutely necessary requirement. Preferably, you will have worked on a systems implementation before. Previous experience having worked with Netsuite will also set you apart from other candidates.
