Head of Accounting Services

A wonderful opportunity to join one of Yorkshire's largest independent firms of accountants in a leadership role with partner potential.

As Head of Accounting Services you will oversee responsibility for none audit clients of this widely respected firm of chartered accounts. This will include full responsibility for portfolio income of several hundred thousand pounds per annum, management and leadership of an experienced team and all business development activities.

The focus of services is accounts production and advice, whether that be annual statutory accounts production or monthly financial reporting and cash management. As such, it is essential that you are a fully qualified accountant, most likely ACA or CA - ICAEW or ICAS or ACCA. You will need to be up to date on all technical aspects of statutory financial reporting and currently within professional practice at a management level or above (or if you have left the profession it would need to be in the very recent past). You will need a genuine passion to help build their business even further and hence have interest in and a demonstrable track record of business development.
