Tax & Accounts Senior

Our client, a Top 30 UK chartered accountancy firm in Central London, are looking to add a Tax & Accounts Senior to their existing team. Their portfolio specialises in entrepreneurial small and medium enterprises (SMEs), large corporates and high-net worth individuals.

They are looking for an ACCA qualified Senior to work on a variety of general practice work, including around 70% accounts work and 30% personal tax work.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing limited company accounts
• Preparing corporation tax returns
• Preparing personal and partnership income tax returns
• Preparing sole trader, partnership and rental accounts
• Preparing VAT returns
• Communicating and corresponding with clients
• Communicating with HMRC
• Assisting in the billing of clients
• Other ad hoc duties in line with the role

The ideal candidate will be ACCA Qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience of working for a Practice. You will be able to work independently and take responsibility for your own work. You will have good general knowledge of income tax, capital allowances and employment taxes and benefits. You will also have knowledge of capital gains tax, treatment of foreign income, tax credits, corporation tax and inheritance tax

In return, the successful candidate will look after a portfolio of nearly 200 clients and work in a dynamic and progressive department.
