Interim Finance Director - LSE Listed

On an exclusive basis Greenwell Gleeson is seeking an Interim Finance Director for a business based in the Midlands listed on the LSE. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead the finance team and take overall responsibility for all aspects of financial control & reporting for a listed business.

The role will be for an initial period of c 3-6 months, running in parallel with the process our client is undertaking to source a permanent Finance Director. This role is therefore open to both professional interims interested only in the short-term assignment or professionals who would be open to becoming permanent. The executive team are highly confident of executing their plans in the coming years which will in turn drive the substantial growth in the market capitalisation they seek for the business. If you were to become permanent there would be the opportunity to obtain an equity stake.

*Control & Management of the finance function.
*Responsibility for the provision of all management information to the Executive team and other internal stakeholders.
*Overseeing production of statutory year end accounts.
*Ensuring all legal & accounting requirements associated with a listing on the LSE are met in full.
*Liaison with external advisors, including investors, lawyers and auditors.
*Working with the Executive team and external parties to ensure successful delivery on any action points that accrue from any M&A activity that may take place in the interim period.

You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification and ideally have held a finance officer position in a listed business previously. To successfully work with the existing executive team and employees, the right finance executive will possess a strong intellect, be a demonstrable team player, willing without hesitation to get involved in the detail to ensure delivery on key objectives and when referenced possess a proven track record of excellence in previous similarly held positions.
