The CIMA Cost Accountant Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Cost Accountant to join us at our stylish Head Office in Rochdale, Nr Manchester. Reporting to the Finance Manager this uniquely diverse role will immerse you in all areas of the business from the preparation of new product costs to offering financial and analytical support of the business proposals that take these products to market, at the same time you will develop SAP and IT skills as you support the finance team and wider business.

The CIMA Cost Accountant Role:

> Preparation of product costs
> Supporting sales & marketing with new business proposals
> Ad hoc financial model preparation
> Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
> Patent box management
> Providing day to day support to the finance department
> Supporting companywide projects with analysis and financial insight
> Development of SAP skills to become a SAP super user
> Development of IT skills to support the businesses B2C operations

The Candidate:

> Qualified to/or studying towards CIMA qualification is essential
> Strong numeracy skills, an A level is Maths is desirable
> Advanced excel skills (Complex formulas, VBA)
> Strong communication and inter-personal skills
> Good at planning, prioritising, organising and multitasking
> Commercially aware with analytical expertise
> Self-starter, entrepreneurial, driven, motivated and hardworking
