Assistant Management Accountant

An Assistant Management Accountant is required to join a growing SME in the Preston area. This position has been newly designed due to succession planning and reports in to an experienced Finance Manager who will act as a mentor to facilitate development opportunities.

Duties will include:

*Producing monthly figures including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals/prepayments and written commentary highlighting variances
*Preparing budgets and dealing with ad hoc requests for information
*Ad hoc analysis and reporting working closely with non-financial managers

To be considered for this outstanding position, you should have a strong academic record, be actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA and have demonstrable experience in a relevant accounting role along with a logical career progression to date. You should be keen to qualify within 2-3 years and be keen to move into a management role in the longer term.
