My client is an impressive Manufacturer based in Tamworth and is seeking an Inventory Controller/Analyst to ensure all stock, purchase and duty control procedures are updated. This position will report directly to the Financial Controller.

DUTIES:
- Manage supplier order book and monitor supplier performance, including on time reviews. Support and lead improvements initiatives.
- Analyse and manage inventory levels in relation to inventory targets.
- Anticipate delivery shortages and take action to mitigate production problems.
- Complete aged inventory review on a monthly basis.
- Co-ordinate annual and monthly physical inventory documenting any errors , investigating the root cause and putting corrective actions in place.
- Analyse and monitor Inventory profitability levels.
- Check sales information in Duty System each quarter and prepare, run and complete Duty return to HMRC
- Prepare freight statistics (imports)
- Production of Continuous self-assessment audit for inventory and fixed assets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Manufacturing background preferably
- Previous SAP experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar role
- Experienced with Fixed Assets and Stock Control
