With the construction sector currently booming, it is a great space to be a part of right now. My client a mainstay in this sector, with large projects all over the UK is looking for an internal auditor to come on board their growing team. The business is currently going through a period of expansion and need a newly qualified auditor that is looking to build their audit skills, in a fast paced energetic environment. The role would have some travel within the UK and EMEA region of up to 25%.
The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for their first move out of practice into industry.
The company offers significant career progression, and invest heavily in all employees. The internal audit team is rated very highly within the business, and they encourage movement into the greater business.
Some of the job requirements are listed below
*Participate in pre-audit surveys, assemble and analyse operational and financial data and identify areas for subsequent audit. Design and prepare specific audit programs for use by the audit team and estimate time requirements.
*Review and evaluate all completed work, findings and recommendations for accuracy, adequacy and presence of sufficient supporting documentation.
*Consult with Audit Manager and Senior Management on problem areas and recommend appropriate commercially practical control improvements to manage these risks.
If this could be of interest please get in touch!
