As a Commercial Finance Analyst you will be responsible for:
Business Support
Support the monthly and annual business planning cycle of business forecast meetings, to ensure pipeline
data is accurately reflected in monthly revenue forecasts.
Prepare monthly and ad hoc internal reporting of pipeline data, sales forecast analysis and other associated Sales performance information as required.
Support Sales Reporting processes across the business and engage effectively with local management teams to define, deliver and develop effective Sales Reporting solutions
Establish and build upon strong, cohesive working relationships across the organisation, to ensure that objectives are achieved through co-operation and application of best practice
Help promote innovation opportunities, by participating in workshops and providing financial support and guidance
Internal Projects
Perform financial and strategic evaluation of investment projects as required, utilising ROI and payback criteria to support and evaluate the business case, ensuring investments are only approved if commercially and financially sound.
Assist the Commercial Finance Manager in ad hoc projects as required
To be successful in your application, you will be:
A Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in a commercial environment
Experience of bid modelling and contract costing within a software based business
Experience of project management and working with a wide variety of stakeholders to a common goal
Working technical knowledge of reporting standards and application to commercial business development
Experienced in competitive dialogue and client negotiations (desirable)
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and general user of Microsoft Suite (Word/PowerPoint etc).
Experience of a variety of accounting and operational systems, in particular SAP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Self-motivated and driven to achieve highest outcome for the business
