Finance Business Partner - Cost Controller

One of my key clients in the South Birmingham area are going through an exciting time of transformation and restructuring.

They have an immediate requirement for a finance business partner who has had roles with a strong emphasis on cost controlling. Working with a number of operational managers you will have the responsibility of assisting and challenging them on a number of new initatives including improved forecasting, budget management and making sure all decisions are heavily consumer focused.

key things they need candidates to demonstrate include:

- That you have a solid grounding in accounting and have progressed this into a more commercial/ business partnering capacity.

- You have previous experience of coming in and successfully completing interim roles.

- You are aware of the challenges that face large organisations in times of restructuring.

- That you are someone who has the mindset not just to identify any issues regarding cost but will act upon them.

- You can comfortably work with directors and operational managers.

Candidates must have strong financial system skills and be available at short notice.
