Robertson Bell Finance are currently working with a reputable Government Agency to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join their renowned regulatory team on a two year fixed term contract. The role based in London with the option of flexible working will however include regular travel (once per week) to the Midlands.
Reporting into the Director of Finance, alongside a team of specialist accountants in a separate entity to the centralised finance function with responsibilities including;
-Regulatory financial auditing, reviewing and reporting of numerous UK wide organisations up to 2bn (Turnover) in size
-Analysing of data to establish new/ developed regulation policies
-Leading and/or providing support on economic process improvement projects
-Economic and financial analysis in relation to competition and pricing
-Working alongside the established modelling team to compile cost models
The successful candidate will have a strong economics background with a recognised accountancy qualification. A strong communicator, with an eye for detail and ability to critically analyse data. Those working in sizeable commercial companies who have exposure to compiling and submitting regulatory accounts will be considered alongside those from audit. Cost modelling, pricing and tax experience will be beneficial in excelling in this interesting role.
