The role
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Go to Market Finance (GTM) team as Sales Business Partner. This role offers a huge amount of variety and exposure to multiple stakeholders whilst working in a dynamic team. GTM, as a part of the wider Experian UK&I, comprising sales, sales support, marketing and sales finance teams. It supports revenue across specific PCU's totalling c£350m with a cost base of c£30m.
The GTM finance team is made up of 12 people in both Nottingham and CoE in Sofia and interacts closely with a variety of stakeholders: GTM leadership team, Sales community, UK&I Corporate Finance and the PCU Finance teams. The team is responsible for all aspects of finance within GTM but broadly falls into the three main areas of:
- Sales Finance e.g. Month end, forecasting, budgeting, commissions
- Cost reporting & management
- Projects and development
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate with be required to lead all finance support for their designated revenue vertical. This will involve partnering closely with the sales director and sales community to ensure the GTM functions effectively.
Key elements of the role include:
- Provide Finance Partnering to vertical sales leaders & team, developing strong relationships to drive revenue performance whilst ensuring financial control, and independence; evaluate sales performance and understand the key drivers that impact on revenue targets
- Deliver presentations to vertical teams (non-finance stakeholders), identifying key risks/opportunities, support the Vertical Sales Leaders to drive for results through adhoc analysis
- Responsible for core processes that impact both the sales and finance communities :
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

- Experience of working in fast paced, results driven role within complex organisation
- Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified
