Senior Auditor

Macildowie Finance are currently recruiting for a Senior Auditor for a large Public Sector organisation based in Nottingham City Centre. The role sits within the Audit, Fraud, Risk and Insurance division of the institute.

The role centres around developing an efficient and effective finance service the works to support departmental management and thus improve quality of public services offered. The role is paying circa £27k.

Duties Include:
- Supporting management around risk management, compliance and control
- Delivering continuous improvement to service through effective practice
- Assisting to meet agreed income and savings targets
- Improvement of compliance and control
- Adding value through a consultative approach
- Completing internal audit reviews
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

You will be a keen and attentive individual with experience within a similar role. Public sector experience is desirable. Part or full qualification (CIPFA/AAT/ACCA/CIMA) is also desirable.
