Finance Officer in Housing Association

Your new company
My client, a public sector, award winning housing association based on the outskirts of the city centre are recruiting for a finance officer due to recent expansion within the finance team.

Your new role
Working closely with the assistant director of finance, the role will involve preparing on a weekly basis the cash flow for the association, meeting with colleagues on a monthly basis to ensure that the forecast is correct and monthly cashflow reconciliation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to gain further exposure to the accounting procedures within a housing association, with fantastic support being offered.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need to be a pro-active person who is happy to work as part of a finance team, where communication is key. You will need to have a good working knowledge of excel and word as well as previous experience of using sage line 50. You will also have sufficient experience working on cash flow forecasting and previous experience with loans would be beneficial but not essential.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered a competitive rate of pay as well as well as an excellent holiday/benefits package. You will also be offered close support from the assistant director of finance. My client is based close to a tram station and also offers on site parking.
