Financial Accountant

Churchill Howard are working with a leading organisation in Birmingham City Centre to recruit a Financial Accountant. This opportunity is an ideal move from a Top 10 Professional Services firm and represents an excellent first step into industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and month end review.
• Variance analysis and commentary on results
• Half Year and Year End accounts preparation
• Group Statutory Accounts preparation and regulatory reporting
• Provision of financial information and advice / implications of accounting methods
• Investment appraisals
• Ad hoc project work

This role is an entry point into a highly sought after employer that offers scope for career progression – either into  Senior reporting accountant roles or into commercial accounting roles.
