Risk & Assurance Manager - £60,000-£70,000 - Birmingham

Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with a growing Aerospace Engineering business, based in Birmingham, who are searching for the newly created post as Risk & Assurance Manager.

Your new role
Reporting directly in to the CFO and Audit Committee, you will be providing assurance that governance controls and processes are both in place and operating effectively. You will be responsible for designing and reporting on the monthly controls dashboard, defining the annual Risk & Assurance plan, and actively delivering that plan. You will also be responsible for ensuring that 'best practice' is promoted across the Group with relation to Governance and Controls.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/IIA), as well as having experience working in Internal Audit or Controls in a large company and have the ability to deliver a robust control environment.

What you'll get in return
£60,000-£70,000 + benefits.
