Robertson Bell Finance are excited to be working with a large £300m turnover Not For Profit Group based in central London, who have grown considerably over the last few years and are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner into this newly created post.
Additionally, while this organisation is charitable by nature, they are very commercially run and operate in both the private and public sector and would give you future career options of whether to stay in the not for profit sector or move into the commercial sector.
The Finance Business Partner is very much a business facing finance role and will involve being in regular contact with Senior Management, Functional Heads, Directors and Local Boards for; long term decision making, budgeting and acting as the main finance point of contact. You will support your non finance budget holders by advising and training them on any areas related to the; budget process and all income and expenditure streams.
In addition, you will leads on the service culture when dealing with operational business units. Finance is very much viewed as a service and not just a processing function and your natural instincts must support this belief. The successful candidate therefore will not be stuck in a back room with their head in spread sheets. You will be leading on management information, lead on the production and analysis of the annual budget, oversee the quarterly forecast process for your business area and you will manage, coach and develop a part qualified business partner.
The successful candidate will be an analytical, intelligent, qualified accountant who is confident with the budgeting process and able to confidently articulate and understand the wider business. You will have the ability and communication skills to build strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation and particularly with non - finance. This role will suit, those who are currently working in the private sector and looking to make the move into Not for Profit, equally those who have worked in the public sector for a number of years and looking for a change.
