Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for an Interim Accounts Assistant for a not for profit organisation based in London. You will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team for a minimum period of three months with the potential to be extended.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the primary function of the Accounts Assistant will be to process and approve the payment of invoices for research grants and funds. You will act as the main point of contact within the department for financial and budgetary queries and will help maintain the grants database. You will liaise externally with grant holders, budget holders and members of the committee, providing advice and managing all financial matters.
The ideal candidate for this post will be a methodical and organised individual, with the ability to problem solve, use financial and budget information effectively and communicate with colleagues of all levels of seniority. You should have a professional approach to work, possess high customer focus skills and have the ability to manage deadlines. Being able to prioritise workload effectively and working productively with minimum supervision is essential for this role.
Ideally you will have previous experience working in a busy finance environment in the charity sector or a not for profit organisation.
You will need to be immediately available or on a short notice period for this role. My client is moving extremely fast and reviewing CVs on a daily basis.
