My client is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide revenue reporting to support the financial planning, analysis and business insights. You will ensure reporting is timely, accurate, suitably tailored and relevant.
Key Objectives:
Prepare and maintain scenario analysis and detailed strategic financial projections including monthly forecasts, five year strategic plan, and annual budget within macro enabled spreadsheets.
Provide analytical support to the finance and management with revenue and margin reporting to aid in tactical and strategic decision making.
Support the London Finance team with ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and to meet Group and Operating Group information requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Operations team in the setting of targets and reporting of results for incentive schemes for Up-sales, Guidebooks, and cash discrepancy control.
Provide support to attraction’s team in driving Retail, F&B activities– analysis of stock levels, margins, best sellers, slow movers, and other ad hoc information requests.
Provide support to Sales (Trade) & Marketing teams – analysis of admissions, promotions/discounts, market penetration and other ad hoc information requests
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue and yield reports to include but not limited to: Commercial Report, Weekly Statistics, Yield Report, Promotions and Cross Selling Reports. Analysis of that data vs budget/LY/forecast.
Support the management accountants to complete the month end reporting. To provide volume/revenue estimates for flash reports, preparation of monthly sales and revenue journals, revenue reports to third party stakeholders and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue and commissions.
Prepare the monthly reconciliation of management accounts to revenue reported in Weekly Statistics Report. Support the completion of our monthly reporting with the upload of prices and volume in addition to providing commentary of key volume and revenue variances.
Perform Hyperion (“HFM”) uploads for HR and Profit Protection in line with our reporting timetable.
Respond to ad hoc revenue queries from all teams within the business.
To ensure the integrity of the Sales and Admissions system data and promptly raise concerns with the IT team and FP&A Manager.
Support the FP&A Manager to drive the improvement in the quality and consistency of volume and revenue reporting across London.
Requirements:
To be considered you will have a working knowledge of internal management reporting and financial analysis. You will also have excellent Excel skills to advanced level.
