Due to excellent results, this leading financial services business is currently looking to recruit an assistant accountant for its expanding finance team.
Reporting into the finance manager this is an exciting opportunity which will give the incumbent the opportunity to liaise with the business as well as finance.
The role will cover:
- Liaising with operations department
- Foreign currency bank account maintenance
- Morning cash management reports
o Cash position/movements
o Broker margin positions
- Journal entries into accounting system for transactions occurring
- Inter company reconciliations
- Liaising with brokers on daily basis
- Accruals/prepayments
- Fixed Asset Register
- Bank & Broker reconciliations
- Aged Debtor Management - Revenue Recognition LC/Bank Presentation
As the ideal candidate you will have a good working knowledge of double entry accounting, must be part qualified having commenced ACCA or CIMA. You will have Intermediate Excel skills, excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills and speak fluent French
