The Finance Director Role:
Work as part of small Board based in Cardiff but will report closely to an off site CFO.
Objectives:-
1) Drive tight cost control across business. Working closely with Functional Leaders and Commercial Managers across the business to promote this. Presence at weekly Operational/Commercial meetings
2) Operational Leadership/management of Finance area. Finance team is experienced and high calibre
3 ) Achieve growth through support business to grow international business and new business channels
4) Help to identify and assess potential acquisitions for the Group
The candidate:
Strong Leadership capability. Lead a large Finance Team.
Promote Finance across business.
Highly driven and can demonstrate desire to take on a new challenge.
Strong technical (Balance Sheet Control) skills
Commercial-desire to commercialise new business opportunities
Experience of acquisitions including assessment and integration would be extremely useful
Any tax exposure would be a bonus
Strong customer facing style and quick to respond to any business needs
