Hays Senior Finance is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a fast growing and acquisitive group that is seeking a Divisional Finance Director for a newly created position.

Your new role

As a key member of the Divisional Leadership Team, you will ensure that the division achieves its strategic plan. You will lead, manage and motivate the finance team and provide commercial support to the divisional management team. You'll have full responsibility for the financial reporting of the business, ensuring that all KPI's are identified and improved through proactive management. Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting commercial negotiations
• Preparation of the strategic plan
• Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and preparing year end accounts
• Preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and regular financial outlooks
• Cash flow forecasting
• Approving all customer pricing proposals and tenders
• Identifying, utilising and developing talent and utilisation of performance management and development

What you'll need to succeed

The Divisional Finance Director will be professionally qualified accountant, ideally with Big 4 training. You'll have previous experience in a financial leadership position and a proven track record of contributing to commercial effectiveness and growth. You'll have strong people management capabilities, excellent communication and you'll be a natural decision maker.
