Assistant Accountant

Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently working with a manufacturing company based in York. This company are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.


Your new role
Within this role you will be assisting with the preparation of the monthly and annual accounts, you will prepare the accruals and prepayments and assist with asset register maintenance. Duties could also include reviewing profit and loss, completing VAT returns and monitoring stock records.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need a can do attitude, you must have strong computer skills. It could be that you are AAT qualified or studying towards your CIMA, ACA or ACCA.

In return you will receive a competitive salary. This role will report directly to the Finance Director.
