Our client is one of the UK’s leading global consumer goods manufacturers. As a growing FMCG company this is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a Supply Chain Finance role to help develop and drive the business forward. You will act as a true business partner to the Supply Chain and Production teams.
Reporting to the CFO, main duties include:
• Overseeing all reports on the groups manufacturing cost systems, provide commercial analysis, financial insight, driving cost saving and working capital improvements
• Responsible for supply chain reporting and analysis to support business decision making
• Representing the supply chain team by attending weekly/periodic supply chain organisation meetings
• Oversee monthly budgeting, reporting, forecasting and cost saving, opportunity and trade-off analysis
• Monitor and analyse price pressure on manufacturing operating
• Develop KPI’s to help improve the performance of each department
• Review other departments to ensure the best financial and commercial terms are agreed (e.g. – stock management, contracts with clients etc.)
• Help develop individuals in the team
Requirements:
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or overseas equivalent)
• Experience in FMCG, in particular with supply chain or production accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficient in MS Office word & outlook
• SAP & Sage experience highly desirable
• Strong communications skills and ability to communicate across different levels with non-financial heads of business
• Strong planning and organisation skills and ability to work under pressure
