The Senior Internal Auditor will support the Assurance Manager in the delivery of the assurance plan, delivering audits to a quality standard and in line with the assurance methodology.
Client Details
A large organisation located in Newcastle.
Description
- Delivery of assigned audits
- Timely development of an Audit Planning Memo for each review to ensure all appropriate stakeholders are engaged.
- Proactively engaging with local management during the course of each audit, keeping them informed of progress and any potential issues.
- Coordinating opening and closing audit meetings as required.
- Developing high quality audit reports that are factually correct.
- Developing and supporting junior members of the team.
Profile
- Five years of IT internal audit and controls experience with a large, multi national, or Big 4 firm.
- Experience of working oversees would be desirable.
- A solid knowledge of Risk Based Internal Auditing standards and techniques as well as relevant control frameworks, methodologies, principles and practices.
Job Offer
Basic salary of £37,000 to £56,000 depending on experience.
