Finance Business Partner

My client are a highly profitable leisure business that, as a result of internal promotion, are now seeking a high calibre finance professional to take on a critical role within the business as Finance Business Partner.

The role will work mainly outside traditional month end reporting and have full responsibility for:

• The management of 1 member of staff who is responsible for the majority of the business SOX reporting and compliance.
• Reporting around capital expenditure, ROI and managing requests from the business
• Finance Business partner for capital projects and supporting in the implementation process
• Project work around due diligence on potential acquisitions, of which the business has made several over the years
• System migrations, implementations and development

The successful candidate will:

• ACA / ACCA qualified seeking their 1^st or 2^nd move into industry
• Have strong experience gained within a controls environment, and understand the importance of controls within a rapidly growing organisation
• Have strong excel skills and the willingness to develop these within this role
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with operational management
