Associate Accountant

Having embarked on a radical period of expansion and change following an investment programme in state of the art accountancy solutions to enable clients to prosper in the digital age they are looking to recruit a newly created role of Associate to join the busy and dynamic office based in southwest London.

Unlike a conventional and prescribed accountancy role this is an opportunity to be a core member of the team where progression and remuneration is based on merit. As well as an attractive salary and benefits package, there is the real opportunity to join at a senior level and to progress to Partner.

This role is perfectly suited to a candidate that can think on their feet and be flexible in their approach. As well as technical accountancy competencies, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent people and communication skills to mentor and grow the team, to build relationships and trust with our clients and to win new business.

The person that we are looking for would need to have:

• ACA or ACCA qualification, with 5-7 years post qualification experience.
• Managerial skills in an accountancy practice.
• A superb knowledge of tax and accounting standards.
• Strong communication skills up to Board level.
• An ambition for long term career development.

This role will suit an experienced, confident and entrepreneurial individual. The business is informal and relaxed with no formal hierarchy so there will be freedom to take responsibility and develop the business. While initially there will be a salary and bonus, it is fully expected that this will develop into an equity based position over time.
