THE COMPANY:
Brewster Pratap Recruitment Group are recruiting a Finance Systems Assistant for a large global business with its Head Office based in Sheffield. The location is ideal for Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster or Barnsley and has excellent motorway links.
THE JOB:
The Finance Team support the business across all jurisdictions worldwide and practice areas. The main purpose of the role is to provide the management of the firm with timely, accurate and reliable financial information with regards to fee income, fee earner performance and working capital management across the business. Duties will include:
Preparing weekly and monthly reports to the business and business support functions
Assisting with queries received in the team mailbox, running existing reports, creating new reports, liaising with other members of the team and utilising Excel
Updating the system to ensure referral and origination credits are accurately captured
Production of the firms "Key Performance Indicators" (KPIs)
Calculating fee earner bonus payments
Preparing annual partner performance data
Supporting other business support functions (Marketing and HR)
Data management - ensuring systems reflects fee earner status, capturing the correct referrals and origination credits
Producing audit reports
Other ad hoc duties as required
THE PERSON:
Be IT literate with excellent Excel skills
Be a self-starter with the initiative to approach problems and seek solutions in a logical manner
Demonstrate a professional approach, be tenacious and focused, demonstrate high levels of customer service and a determination to get the job done
Be at ease communicating with Partners
Be flexible and able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Be able to display a consistently positive attitude and adopt a 'can do' approach as well as being able to work well on own initiative and also as part of a wider team
Possess a high level of written and oral communication skills
Exhibit well developed time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting timescales and priorities
Work well within the team to support the delivery of any time critical projects
