Divisional Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Day to day control of the financial function including the production of the monthly management accounts and supporting commentary;
• Preparation of annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts, and approval of all unbudgeted expenditure;
• Oversight and line management of FC, management accountants, sales ledger, credit control, accounts payable and treasury;
• Ensuring that all management and control systems existing within the business remain operational and fit for purpose;
• Improve stakeholder management and value add of the finance team
• Ownership of the organisation's improvement processes including compliance with policies and procedures
• Working with the Commercial Director's to evaluate and implement corporate development opportunities on an ad hoc basis.
• Customer is king mentality

• A qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant from hotels, restaurants or manufacturing sectors

• Highly motivated self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a desire and ability to deliver consistently whilst operating under pressure
• Strong presentation skills and experience in being a key vocal member within Board and other committee meetings
• Demonstrates and demands personal commitment to team goals
• A natural ability to manage and develop a team
