Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a high calibre individual to deliver sound business partnering, planning & analysis and strategic support to various areas of Finance within the UK and wider EMEA regions of the business. This is a highly visible role where developing new metrics will be essential to highlight growth opportunities for the business along with detailed financial and commercial support. Key accountabilities will include:

* Provide clear and insightful reporting and analysis that ensures there is a clear understanding at all times of performance across all aspects of the division
* To provide financial leadership on selected business cases across the division, managing the required modelling, detailed analysis and working closely with the business to gather robust assumptions to ensure the best return on investment
* To build a greater understanding and awareness across the business of customer movements in order to identify optimal solutions to improve performance
* To lead on advanced excel modelling requirements across the business as a whole where required
* To identify business intelligence requirements and work with stakeholders across the business to ensure these are delivered in a timely manner and in an easy to use format
* To clearly articulate the key focus areas within the division and demonstrate strong influencing skills to ensure that corrective action is implemented on a timely basis
* To business partner the Product, Propositions and Segmentation team, playing an integral role in decision making to ensure the optimum outcome
* To support the long term plans, budgets and forecasting process across the division to ensure targets are robust and achievable and meet the requirements of the Executive and the Board
* To proactively drive continual improvements in the quality of reporting and analysis, to drive further progress in the level of understanding of performance and specific issues that require focus

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with first class academics and have demonstrable experience within Commercial Finance. Essential are excellent communication skills, capable of working with a senior management team, advanced excel modelling skills and the ability to influence at a senior level.
