Credit Controller - Real Estate - London. Our Client, a leading Commercial Real Estate manager and value creator focussing on Property /Asset Management of a UK wide portfolio, now require a Credit Controller to join their team.
The Role will involve the following:
- Processing and allocating daily cash and cheques received on bank statements.
- Processing card payments for rent from tenants, updating spreadsheets until funds clear the bank account and posting out to tenant receipts.
- Responsible for the daily debt collection, for overdue payments.
- Resolving tenant phone queries.
- Setting up and agreeing payment plans with tenants and formalise the payment plan in writing to the tenant.
- Controlling the set up of Direct Debits, sending mandates to the bank.
- Creating bank statement reconciliations for company solicitor as requested.
- Liaising with, and instructing nominated solicitor to instruct LBA to rent debtors on behalf of the company, monitoring follow up actions.
- Issuing weekly debt reports to Property Manager and reviewing.
- Monitoring the BACS website for input and notification of returned Direct Debits.
- Creating invoices for admin fees, following receipt of monies.
- Create invoices for Machine suppliers and reconcile monthly, chase for any outstanding monies.
The Person: To apply, you MUST have Property/Real Estate experience as a Credit Controller. Strong communication skills is a must as you will be required to work with a number of people and will be given instructions from various members of the team as well as liaising with tenants regularly.
