Commercial Analyst

A fantastic opportunity for a talented Commercial Analyst to join a market leading business based in Leicester.

The purpose of the Commercial Analyst role is to operate within the Finance and Management Information functions and to be responsible for providing accurate and consistent metrics, analysis and key performance indicators

Main duties of the Commercial Analyst role are;

• To support the finance function with the delivery of financial KPI data and modelling of income, margin and direct costs
• General insight regarding the performance of sales and accounts performance with predictive modelling
• Design and maintain a suite of reports providing management information on the operational efficiency and performance of the organisation
• Supporting all roles with the timely delivery of reports to view progress against business KPI's
• Developing ad hoc management information reports to meet business needs
• Create accurate analytical and predictive models
• Create new reports which combine and summarise data from multiple data sources to generate meaningful information and knowledge
• Understand and interpret reports to generate insight regarding the performance of customer operations and share and present this information with a range of business stakeholders
• Automate the extraction data and the production of reports and configure the systems used to generate and present management information

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Analyst role will have strong Finance or Commercial Analyst  experience. You will have advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and VBA. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
