AAT Qualified / Semi-Senior Accountant

THE OPPORTUNITY
A unique opportunity has arisen for an AAT Qualified Semi-Senior Accountant offering unrivalled earnings potential at this level and beyond, exposure to all aspects of general accountancy practice and business advisory work and long term career prospects.

Joining the team as a Semi-Senior Accountant you will have your own portfolio of clients to run which will comprise sole traders, SME's and large limited companies ranging from c.£50k t/o - £5m t/o. You will also have the opportunity to provide solutions to the firms larger clients as your progress into a Senior Accountant position (1 - 2 years) and can ultimately expect progression to Portfolio Manager.

Your client portfolio responsibilities will entail:

- Preparation of year end financial statements and statutory accounts

- Completion of quarterly VAT returns and monthly management accounts

- Corporate and personal tax calculations

- Ad hoc business advisory work including preparation of business plans, cashflow forecasts and information for business valuations and share valuations.

THE PERSON
You will be AAT Qualified and will have proven experience of accounts preparation, tax computations, VAT and other areas of general accountancy practice.

You will be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in producing high quality work and providing solutions to clients problems.
