Financial Accountant

My client is looking for an Financial Accountant for a permanent vacancy based in Warwick.

You will:

• Perform the General Ledger and Fixed Asset activities in accordance with GBS Accounting guidelines in order to complete the monthly close in accordance with the defined schedule
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries
• Complete monthly account reconciliation's, such as bank accounts, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts
• Update of foreign currency rates as required
• Assist in the preparation of semi-annual and annual group reporting packages
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of activities to provide a high level of service to internal customers
• Identify potential process improvements and participate in the implementation of changes with the goal of promoting and providing cost efficient services to internal customers
• Research, analyse and resolve accounting issues
• Provide support for the annual external audit, internal audit requests and Tax Department as required

You will be part qualified ACCA or coming to the end of your studies or perhaps qualified and looking for your next exciting challenging opportunity.
You will have worked in finance for at least 4 years and be driven to succeed and potentially manage a small team moving forward.
