Senior Management Accountant

Morgan Law are currently working within an NHS Foundation Trust based South of London that are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis. 

The day to day responsibilities of this role will include: 
•Supporting the Deputy Finance Manager in the development of Business cases for the portfolio 
•Working with services and managers to provide the financial input into business cases and service developments
•Maintaining the income register for the Portfolio.
•Support the development of a 5 year integrated income, expenditure, workforce, activity and capacity plan for the portfolio 
•Contributing to the annual budget setting/financial planning process
•Meeting regularly with budget holders and senior managers to assess financial performance and to provide financial management information and advice to them regarding risks and success factors in achieving financial targets. 
•Providing monthly statements and other relevant financial information to Trust Directorates
•Monitoring, on an ongoing basis, financial performance against agreed delegated budgets
•Reporting variances as well as cost analysis for bench marking purposes.  

The client would be interested in a candidate who has a strong background working in a similar role within another NHS organisation. It is essential that you can demonstrate a strong knowledge of management accounts. The client is also looking for a candidate that is looking to progress and develop themselves.
