Accounts Payable Assistant

A global Film/TV production company are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary basis. Due to continued growth within the company they have the need for additional headcount within the team. Depending on this growth over the coming months there may be potential for this role to be made permanent.

This is an exciting time to join the company and would be a great opportunity for someone looking to get exposure to a global brand. You will join a team of 7 and take on the responsibility of invoice processing, bank reconciliations, supplier statement reconciliations with some involvement in journals at month end. You will support the Assistant Accountant in their duties and be the main point of contact for any suppliers, so relationship building is key.

You will be an adaptable and personable individual who has a keen eye for detail. Ideally you will be studying AAT and looking to progress through to ACCA or CIMA. My client is looking for someone with a minimum of 12 months' experience within finance and is confident in their abilities within the accounts payable function. Experience within the Media industry would be extremely beneficial but is not essential.

This role will pay the equivalent of £25,000 per annum. As previously mentioned although this is a temporary role initially, there is definite potential for a permanent role as the company is going through a phase of expansion. The company is located centrally within London, surrounded by a great deal of amenities and good transport links.
