Finance Director

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Finance Director to manage work for a highly regarded international real estate business that develops, owns and manages a portfolio of properties in the UK and overseas.

You will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing commercial support and guidance to the board. Produce investment appraisals on acquisitions and disposals of a series of buildings. Manage the year end audit and manage external relationships with Auditors and Tax adviser's. Manage the external and internal reporting for 30 entities including the quarterly and monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasting cash-flow, as well as VAT reporting. Provide financial property reports for assets under management and analyse project revenues cost and ratios.

You will have the following prerequisites:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Must have be from a real estate background with a good understanding of real estate investment and transactions experience
• A Financial controller looking to step up
• FP&A
• Ability to deal with complex changes in legal, regulatory and financial frameworks
• Confident at managing external investor relations, board members and institutional relationships
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analysis and financial skills, and good business sense
• Team management experience (ideally working for an SME, but not essential).
