Senior Internal Audit Manager

Badenoch & Clark are currently working with a leading PLC based in Sussex who are looking to hire a Senior Internal Audit Manager on a permanent basis. This expanding and highly acquisitive organisation is currently going through a period of change and as a result the internal audit team is growing.

This is a highly visible role with significant responsibility in risk management and internal audit at a leadership level. An understanding of the financial services industry is an advantage but we are open to looking at candidates from other sectors also. Please note that there is around 30% travel across the UK and on occasion Europe involved with this role.

Key experience required
*Be a Chartered or Certified Auditor (ACA/ACCA) or IIA Qualified
*Have significant Internal Audit experience and have proven experience operating as a Senior Audit Manager
*Ideally you will have had some exposure to IT & Change Audits
*Manager level within a UK regulated financial services organisation
*Be of a senior enough level to have the appropriate standing and authority to challenge the Executive, yet also be able to create an open, constructive and co-operative relationship with the Executive and Risk functions
*Possess the ability to create open, constructive and co-operative relationships which supports sharing of information
*Have experience of co-ordinating delivery of Internal Audit with out-source service providers and an in-house team
*Have extensive experience of providing Internal Audit in a geographically dispersed business
*Extensive experience of auditing, influencing and operating within fast changing organisations, including acquisitions, divestments and consolidation
